Angelica had been in dialysis for nearly a year before she was finally ready to undergo the biggest operation of her life: a transplant of the kidney. Her mother was the one who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica Hale along with her mother had an organ transplantation procedure at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and the Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston on September 13th 2013.
