Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress model TV host and comedian. Panganiban (also called The New Queen of Drama) is considered by different media to be one of the Philippines most versatile, experienced and knowledgeable actors. This was due to an aggressive strep pneumococcal bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston put her on ECMO which is a lifesaving treatment. The patient suffered from multiple organ failures and kidneys that were not able to recover. Her new normal was not peritoneal but hemodialysis. Her return home was finally made after an eighteen-day stay in the hospital after a time when she was close to death, and began the lengthy road to healthy. Her life had been forever altered. Angelica had been in dialysis for nearly a year before she was finally ready to undergo the biggest operation of her life: a transplant of the kidney. Her mother was the one who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica Hale along with her mother had an organ transplantation procedure at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and the Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston on September 13th 2013. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always thought of becoming an actor and a singer and is currently working towards this dream.
