 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto (Ontario) to Joanna Noyes, an actor as well as Jan Steen who is a actor and director. She is of Dutch and Scottish descent.



 



 Steen is also an animal rights advocate as well as an environmentalist, in addition her entertainment business. Steen is a supporter of David Suzuki and the World Society for the Protection of Animals. She is a certified diver who is proficient in several circus arts such as fire-twirling stilt-walking and fire-twirling.
